How To Apply Your New Patch

Thank you for purchasing one of our heat applied patches! 

Installing on your garment or hat is quite simple and following these best practices can help a lot when you apply your patch.

 

  • Use a temperature of approx 270 on your press and apply medium pressure for 10-12 seconds. Your machine time and temp may vary based on your model so use this as a guide for starting. 

IMPORTANT!
Always be sure to apply butcher paper or some fabric over the patch before pressing to avoid the "Shiny" look direct heat can produce. 

Butcher paper helps to evenly distribute the heat and pressure, ensuring that the entire surface of the substrate is exposed to the same conditions. This results in a more consistent transfer of the design onto the substrate.
